The National Parks of the Rocky Mountains are famous for their great wildlife; we saw some of these animals on our trip. The little ground squirrels are nearly everywhere – on walls, rocks or park benches. We ran into the snow goat in the middle of the highway and watched the white-tailed deer at the roadside. Highlights are certainly the encounters with grizzly and black bears – without any risks as we could watch them from our car.
