Death Valley, predominantly located in California, is one of the driest areas on earth. In 1913 a temperature of 56.7 degrees Celsius was recorded near the Furnace Creek Ranch – the highest temperature ever measured on earth. An average of 28 rainy days a year is not much either. In Badwater you find the lowest point of the USA, 85.5 meters below sea level. Do not forget your baseball cap, some bottles of water and a very good sunscreen before entering this bizarre valley…
