Montréal (QC)

Montréal at the St. Lawrence River is Canada’s second largest city after Toronto and the largest city in the province of Québec. Heart of the city is Mont Royal, approximately 200 meters high and with the famous cross on top. A special feature of the city is the Ville Intérieure, the so-called underground city. It’s the world’s longest continuous system of pedestrian tunnels and shopping arcades, combined with ten underground and two train stations. During the long and cold winters, pedestrians can move comfortably underground through downtown over a length of around 32 kilometers.
