Fort Worth (TX)

Fort Worth, fifth largest city in Texas, used to be an important hub for the cattle economy. On Sundance Square, a huge mural commemorates the Chisholm Trail, a 500-mile route for driving cattle from southern Texas to the loading stations in Abilene, Kansas. In the historic Stockyards, cattle are still driven through the streets every afternoon – an entertaining spectacle that tourists should definitely not miss. Especially for the ladies, we recommend the National Cowgirl Museum.
