It is something very special when it suddenly appears shiny red in the distance – famous Golden Gate Bridge, the city’s landmark. International Orange is the official name of its color. The elegant structure with its Art Deco towers is probably the most photographed bridge in the world, though it often disappears behind thick clouds of fog. Even today, it is still one of the longest suspension bridges in the world; up to 6,000 cyclists, more than 10,000 pedestrians and around 120,000 cars cross the bridge every day.
