Halifax is by far the largest city in the entire Atlantic provinces. Heart of the city is the Citadel with the Clock Tower, visible from afar. The harbor promenade is modern and invites you to stroll. In Fairview Lawn Cemetery, 121 dead from the Titanic disaster of 1912 are buried. The best view of the city is from the World Peace Pavilion in Dartmouth on the opposite side of the waterway. The Pavilion contains stones from more than 70 countries, including two pieces of the Berlin Wall.
