Vancouver is the only major city on the west coast of Canada and the starting point of almost every journey through the West of the country. The city has the ambitious goal of becoming “The Greenest City in the World” within the next few years. Stanley Park, with more than 1.5 square miles the largest city park in Canada and the third largest in North America, gives the city a fairly good starting position; the network of walking trails in the park is more than 200 kilometers.

The Harbor and the City invite to stroll and observe, the modern Public Library resembles the Colosseum in Rome, and the Steam Clock in the Gas Town district emits steam at regular intervals. Lighthouse Park and Lynn Canyon on the city’s outskirts are also worthwhile destinations. Three days for Vancouver seem to be a good plan.
